I recently returned from my first trip to Japan and during that trip I spent two days at the Tokyo Disney Resort; one day in Disneyland and one day in DisneySea.
While I had a fantastic day at Tokyo Disneyland and managed to achieve more on one day than I thought I would, my favourite park out of the two was definitely DisneySea. Dare I say, it might even be the best theme park I have ever visited!
I have so much I want to share with you about my time in Tokyo DisneySea and I wanted to start by talking about the food. In my last post I shared all the food I ate in one day at Tokyo Disneyland, and now it’s time to share what I ate in one day at Tokyo DisneySea.
Spoiler: it was a lot!
Spaghetti with meatballs
When ever I visit a theme park I always prioritise rides first, so after a busy morning of riding some of the most unique attractions DisneySea has to offer, we decided to have an early lunch.
We decided to eat at Zambini Brother’s Ristorante as we knew they had a vegetarian option for my partner.
I opted for the spaghetti with meatballs which was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size. Italian is my favourite cuisine and it was lovely to sit and eat my meal while looking out of the beautiful Mediterranean Harbor. You really do feel like you’re in Italy!
Spaghetti with meatballs is available from Zambini Brother’s Ristorante located in Mediterranean Harbor.

Chocolate & orange Tipo Torta
I’d never even heard of Tipo Torta before visiting DisneySea but as I walked past Tropic Al’s the smell of this sweet treat lured me in!
The photo I took really doesn’t do this snack justice, but it’s a warm pastry stick filled with a chocolate and orange flavoured filling, and my god was it good! It was probably my favourite food I tried while at the Tokyo Disney Resort and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
I’m either going to have to learn how to make Tipo Tortas myself, or book another trip to Tokyo DisneySea immediately!
Chocolate and orange Tipo Tortas are available from Tropic Al’s located in the Lost River Delta.

Mickey tropical fruit ice bar
The day we visited DisneySea was a warm one (I got sunburned) and after spending a lot of time in the sun queuing for rides, we were in need of something refreshing.
We passed an ice cream stand just opposite the Indiana Jones ride and decided to grab a Mickey shaped ice lolly. I was impressed by the size of this ice lolly and it was super refreshing. I just cannot resist Mickey shaped food!
Mickey ice bars are available from various locations around Tokyo DisneySea.

Milk chocolate popcorn
The Toyko Disney Resort is famous for it’s popcorn, and they have some very interesting flavours available including soy sauce and butter, curry, garlic shrimp and matcha white chocolate.
I stuck with something less adventurous and tried the milk chocolate popcorn which was very tasty and great value for money.
Next time I will be brave and try some of the less conventional flavours, and I’ll also buy myself a popcorn bucket because honestly, I felt a bit left out without one!
Milk chocolate popcorn is available from the popcorn wagon in front of Cape Cod Cook-Off located in the American Waterfront.

Tomato and basil long pizza
Sadly I don’t have a picture of the last two snacks of the day because my phone died!
However, in the evening we decided to grab a snack before getting the bus back to our hotel.
My partner had raved about the tomato and basil long pizza he had eaten for lunch and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. So we headed back to Zambini Brother’s Ristorante and ordered two long pizzas!
I can confirm it was the hype from my partner and I’m glad we went back so I could try it. It’s a great option for vegetarians!

Cinnamon Mickey churros
Our final treat of the day was also from Zambini Brother’s Ristorante. I’d already had more than enough sugar for one day but I wanted one more snack before leaving the Disney bubble.
So I bought a cinnamon churro. And the fun thing about the cinnamon churros is that they are Mickey shaped!
I still think the crème brûlée churros I tried in the Tokyo Disneyland park were my favourite flavour but the cinnamon churros were still really tasty.
